Sabbatical
Announcement
Dear Wonderful Friends and Client,
Starting on October 1, 2023, I will no longer be seeing clients and instead will be taking an 18-month service Sabbatical. I am grateful for the 10 wonderful years I have had working with many individuals, couples, and families and seeing your courage to face difficult challenges. I have watched you have the courage to face infidelity, addiction, marital distress, depression, anxiety, and multiple other struggles and I have seen you find healing. You give me courage and I look forward to working with others in the future. Thank you!

Couple, Individual, and Family Counseling
Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist
We are created for connection.
When we don't feel safe, secure, or wanted in our most important relationships that can create discomfort and even deep distress. That distress may look like anxiety or depression and may come out in painful, ugly ways with our loved ones. We may long for something different but not know how to change. We might even feel like we are losing our own sense of who we are.
The good news is that therapy can help.
The process I use in therapy is to create a safe place where you can explore, create, or rebuild trust and security in your marriage, individual, and family relationships. As you experience safety and growth in therapy the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and distress will lessen in your life.
Couples Therapy
You wouldn't take your brand new Tesla to the local Ford dealership hoping they would know how to care for it. And you shouldn't take your marriage to a therapist who isn't trained to work with couples hoping they will know how to care for your most important relationship. I am especially passionate about marriage relationships which is why I have continued to train in the best of evidence-based therapy for couples. I am certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have additional training in the Gottman Sound Marital House Theory and as a Prepare/Enrich couples assessment facilitator.
Individual Therapy
I love to make the journey with individuals who are working to make changes in their lives. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and the impact of trauma in their lives. Learning how trauma impacts our brains has been a profound experience for me personally and professionally and I bring this knowledge into my interactions with my clients.

Family Therapy
As a marriage and family therapist I have been trained in systems theory and I enjoy working with the family system. Sometimes a family just needs someone from the outside to help the family see the negative patterns that impact their ability to connect. Â I can help your family develop stronger connections and disrupt negative patterns.
