About Therapy

What is Marriage and Family Therapy?

A Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is a type of individual, couple and family therapist who provides counseling from a systems perspective. As an MFT I consider a person within the context of their relationships. Those that we are in relationship with impact us while we also impact them.  I consider the impact of relationships in all of my counseling. An MFT can work with people from all ages and I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.
